Winter Park, FL … July 7-13, 2000 _ Philders Group International has an idea it hopes will find a warm reception around the world. The Winter Park-based Company has spent the past couple of years perfecting BUILDSTAT®, a trademark program for construction of flexible modular healthcare facilities. According to PGI's Marlene Linders, BUILDSTAT® modular buildings can be especially useful overseas in disaster relief efforts or to set up medical facilities in remote areas. "These buildings can be set up anywhere - and even moved anywhere." , Linders says "They are an inexpensive alternative to a permanent location, and they can be linked via satellite to medical facilities all over the world." Now the company is taking the idea to the private sector in hopes of attracting venture capital interest. "We think it has great potential," Linders adds. "I mean, you even get the whole package in its own shipping module. Now it's just a matter of generating interest in the product."
